I was fortunate to spend 5 days in Lockwood, California at the Making Pegasus Ranch photographing horses.
It was a wonderful workshop from Lori Sortino of Essence Captured.
Spending 5 days amongst a herd of over 200 horses was a time I will treasure for a long time. Each day was spent wandering and touching and bonding with the herd at Making Pegasus.
Early morning photo shoots meant rising at 4:30 to grab coffee and breakfast andmake it to the ranch for the early morning sunrise. We spent the morning watching the sunrise and walking amongst the main herd in the pasture. A collection of horses of various breeds: Gypsy's, Throughbreds, Clydesdales and more. Then we transitioned on to photographing each of the many Stallions, in most cases one by one turned out at libery in a large pasture. The Stallions snorted and sniffed and powerfully charged in front of the photographers-passing each time with manes flowing, eyes wide open and a friendly fury.
Mid mornings also included time with the mares and foals- most born within the last two months. It was wonderful to walk along with the playful and curoius foals. Each day brought one amazing experience after another. I have thousands of images to review, so this gallery collection will continue to grow over time. Be sure and check back periodically for the latest images.

Why We are Doing this
Only when patterns are broken can new worlds emerge. Making Pegasus is creating the ultimate horse in fulfillment of Poseidon’s platform honoring the horse as the symbol of the effort to reacquaint humanity with the 3 most important concepts in all of consciousness. Only when those concepts are comprehended and respected can humanity regain it's optimal rate of evolution.
